  • Publication number: 20250074087
Abstract: Provided is a device for exerting a stretching on a recording medium. The recording medium rests with its back side on at least one respective contact region of a plurality of bearing element regions of at least one bearing element. The bearing element regions are arranged transverse to a transport direction of the recording medium and stand out from a base body. A portion of the bearing element regions stand out from the base body such that their end connected to the base body has a greater distance from a lateral edge of the recording medium than their contact region distal from the base body. A negative pressure is applied between at least two bearing element regions arranged next to one another to move the recording medium in the direction of the base body and a portion of the bearing element regions are deformed to exert a force on the recording medium.
