Abstract: The telephone apparatus, particularly for use in a motor vehicle, has a hand-held receiver apparatus (3) (Handy) and an insert part (1) for receiving the same. The insert part (1) has preferably at least one function key (31a-c) as well as particularly at least one display element (33a-c). The function key or keys (31a-c) is or are arranged and structured in such a manner that they can be found and operated without eye contact. The insert part (1) and the hand-held receiver apparatus (3) have particularly coupling parts (24a, 24b) of a coupling (23) for the signal transmission that can be separated from each other or can grip into each other. At least one of the coupling parts (24a), particularly the one within the insert part (1), has a protective arrangement against the penetration of liquids and/or foreign bodies when the hand-held receiver apparatus is decoupled.

Abstract: A microphone device includes two half-shells that can be unfolded and folded-up, connected by a hinge. The device can be used as a sheathed table microphone in the unfolded position. It is folded together for transport, by which a possibly present keyboard is protected.

Abstract: The mounting support (2) consists of a U-shaped clamping strap. A holder (4) carrying the microphone (5) is mounted displaceably to the curved portion (3) of the clamping strap (2). The axial direction (7) of the microphone (5) wherein the latter has its maximum sensitivity can be adjusted with respect to the sound source by displacing the microphone holder (4) along the curved strap portion (3).The extremely simple, economically producible microphone mounting support permits accurate adjustment of the direction of maximum sensitivity to the sound source, independently of the position of the object to which the mounting support is fastened; this is important for a transmission free of feedback, especially during hand-free two-way communication.

Abstract: The mouthpiece and the earpiece (3, 4) of the automobile telephone apparatus are held at the base (1) by means of respectively one locking means (30, 41). The locking means securing the earpiece (4) is constituted by a spring catch (41); the locking means for the mouthpiece (3) is constituted by a lug (30) formed at an elevation (15) of the base (1) or likewise by a spring catch. Upon cradling of the handset (2), both locking means (30, 41) engage into indentations (32, 51) of the mouthpiece and earpiece (3, 4). The handset (2) can be lifted off only by pressing a push button, arranged between the supporting surfaces of the base (1) for the earpiece and mouthpiece (3, 4), of a release means acting on the spring catch (41). The locking means (30, 41) reliably prevent detachment of the handset (2) from the base (1) during a collision and injury thereby to the occupants of the automobile.
