  • Patent number: 12021473
Abstract: A control for an electromagnetic holding brake with a coil for releasing the holding brake and maintaining it in the released position, which requires a minimum brake coil voltage to maintain it in the re-leased position, having a DC-DC converter with an input and an output, the DC-DC converter being designed to convert a variable input voltage pre-sent at the input into a predetermined switch-on voltage provided at the output and a predetermined holding voltage provided at the output, the holding voltage corresponding to the minimum brake coil voltage, the DC-DC converter being designed to implement a 2-stage voltage control and, in a first stage, to maintain the switch-on voltage as a regulated DC voltage for a predetermined time, to downregulate the voltage from the switch-on voltage following a predetermined voltage curve to the holding voltage as regulated DC voltage, and to maintain it in a second stage.

  • Patent number: 11307006
Abstract: The invention relates to a projectile (1, 8, 9) having at least one payload (5) or explosive charge in the projectile body (2, 7, 10), preferably in the medium caliber range, the payload (5) being integrated into the projectile body (2, 7, 10) in the form of a pyrotechnic charge. The payload (5) can preferably be enclosed and sealed by a core (6, 14) which preferably consists of metal or plastic. In an alternative embodiment, the pyrotechnic payload (5) is disposed behind a penetrator (11) in the projectile body (10), the payload (5) thus being located between the penetrator (11) and the projectile body (10).

  • Patent number: 9188415
Abstract: A part of a cover is pressed radially into a circumferential groove contour in a projectile body by a preferably rigid die, which need only be moved axially and which is provided with a special outer contour. An outer contour should be matched to the groove contour or vice versa, so that the material of the cover that is formed radially by the forward-moving die can be pressed into the groove contour of the projectile body, and the cover no longer has any degrees of freedom after the forming, so that it is secured with respect to the tracer or the like. The cover is preferably a cover ring.
