  • Publication number: 20240007450
Abstract: A method for secure, high-availability transmission of messages includes communicating a transmission of messages on a first channel secured using a message authentication code on a redundant private databus. The redundant private data bus is configured to connect a first control unit and a second control unit. The method further includes communicating a transmission of messages on a second channel without protection using the message authentication code on the redundant private databus. The messages transmit signals. Signals from the first channel are used in a first operating state, and signals from the second channel are used in a second operating state.

  • Publication number: 20230379139
Abstract: A method of transmitting data associated with a data source, for example a sensor device, for example for a motor vehicle, includes determining first information that enables a verification of authenticity and/or integrity of at least one data value available from the data source, and transmitting a plurality of data values to at least one further unit. At least some data values of the plurality of data values are transmitted together with one, e.g., respective, portion of the first information.

  • Patent number: 11560171
Abstract: A method operates a steering device which comprises at least one electric motor that can be operated with an increased torque lying between a nominal torque of the electric motor and a maximum torque of the electric motor over an entire basic setting range. In at least one operating state, a threshold torque of the electric motor is at least temporarily limited to a reduced torque, in particular in comparison to the maximum torque, at least depending on at least one temperature characteristic variable.

  • Patent number: 9821060
Abstract: A heat-sensitive system comprising at least one nanoparticle bound covalently to at least one thermolabile molecule comprising an azo —N?N— functional group —N?N— in turn bound covalently to at least one active molecule selected from a fluorophore molecule and a drug is disclosed. The system converts an electromagnetic radiation into thermal energy exposed to an alternating magnetic field. Uses of the system are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9376328
Abstract: Methods of making iron-based ferrite nanocrystals are provided. In such methods the ferrite may include iron oxides and iron/cobalt or iron/manganese mixed salts. The method may include thermal decomposition of one or more precursors of the ferrite, consisting of an organic salt of the metal or metals constituting the ferrite of interest, comprising the operation of heating a solution comprising said precursor(s) in the presence of a surfactant and of a non-aqueous organic solvent comprising an ether, at temperature sufficient to cause thermal decomposition of said precursor, wherein the solvent may further comprise a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched aliphatic hydrocarbon, liquid at temperatures above 45° C. and having a boiling point above the boiling point of the ethereal solvent.
