    Abstract: A device for adjusting a fold depth of a folding rail is provided for use on a sewing machine. The device includes a rotatable stop disk with an adjusting cam providing a continuously extending surface. An actuator is provided for driving the stop disk. The actuator is preferably a stepping motor and the adjusting cam preferably has a spiral shape.
