Patent number: 10219612Abstract: The brushing device contains a bundle of fiber rods (1), which are arranged parallel to one another, and a protective sleeve (2), which encloses the fiber rods. Once fiber rods (1) have become worn, the protective sleeve (2) is able to be axially adjusted, so that the free ends of the fiber rods (1) protrude beyond the protective sleeve (2) by a desired amount. A first component (4) connected to the fiber rods (1) and a further, second component (8) connected to the protective sleeve (2) are detachably connected to one another, in a non-positively locking manner, by a clamping mechanism (3, 5, 11).Type: GrantFiled: May 2, 2017Date of Patent: March 5, 2019Assignee: Liechti Engineering AGInventors: Christoph Urfer, Andreas Scheidegger, Ernst Haueter

Publication number: 20070133019Abstract: Transparent content and opaque content that is contained within a document is treated differently for printing. The transparent content within a document is rasterized and stored in a system-managed bitmap before printing. While rasterization is effective for maintaining visual fidelity of transparent content it can lead to large spool files and poor performance if excessively performed. In order to help optimize the performance of output devices, the transparent content within the document is rasterized and the opaque vector content within the document is drawn into a metafile before printing. The metafile is replayed onto the printer and into the bitmap such that the opaque content can be blended with the rasterized transparent layers that are contained within the bitmap. The bitmap is then drawn on the printer.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 13, 2005Publication date: June 14, 2007Applicant: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Ryan Hill, Peter Lai, Jeffrey Rambharack, Andreas Scheidegger

Publication number: 20050271488Abstract: The machine tool is provided for working ring-shaped workpieces (1), in particular one-piece turbine wheels, so-called “bladed rings”. It has a rotatable chucking device (2) for a workpiece (1). Said chucking device is mounted on a carrying part (4), which in turn is supported by a supporting component (5). In order to keep the dimension (14) of the length by which the carrying part (4) projects beyond the workpiece (1) on the side facing the supporting component (5), as low as possible, the carrying part (4) protrudes into the chucking device (2) to such an extent that it projects at least through the boundary surface (7) of the workpiece (1) facing the supporting component (5). A saving of space is achieved in this way and, therefore, enhanced accessibility is obtained for the tool to the side of the workpiece (1) facing the supporting component (5).Type: ApplicationFiled: May 10, 2005Publication date: December 8, 2005Inventors: Ralph Liechti, Fritz Lehmann, Andreas Scheidegger

Patent number: 6622586Abstract: Conventional positioning devices in which a body is displaceable in a plane and rotatable by three drives have the drawback that at least one of the drives is displaced together with the body, whereby these apparatus are relatively heavy and sluggish. In the case of the positioning device according to the invention, three straight guide elements, arranged radially, are rigidly connected to the body. Each guide element is accepted in a linear bearing in a longitudinally displaceable way, and each linear bearing is disposed on a separate rotor in a way pivotable about a pivot axis directed perpendicular to the plane. Through independent displacement of the linear bearings on a common circular path, the body can be shifted and rotated as desired in a region. This construction has the advantage that it is built simply and that it is able to execute quick and precise positioning movements in particular owing to small masses in motion.Type: GrantFiled: December 21, 2001Date of Patent: September 23, 2003Assignee: Liechti Engineering AGInventors: Andreas Scheidegger, Ralph Liechti
