  • Publication number: 20180159937
Abstract: A monitoring system for the real-time monitoring of a machine tool, a transceiver module therefor, as well as a machine tool including such a transceiver module, allowing that responsible persons, for example the machine operator or a production manager, can obtain in real-time relevant information regarding status parameters at a mobile data processing device, in order to initiate or implement potentially required measures, by which processing can be optimized, or in order to monitor the optimal operation and utilization of machine groups or the entire operation. The monitoring system and/or the machine tool include an app-server or a web server, which renders available and allows obtaining and displaying the parameters obtained by the electronic machine control for an application program (app) or for a web browser of the mobile data processing device.

  • Patent number: 6889607
Abstract: A method for mounting a printing master on a printing form cylinder includes readying a new print job with a printing-image length by releasing an unwinding spool, activating an unwinding spool drive for moving the printing master a length in circumferential direction of the cylinder on the circumferential surface by drawing the printing master to a rewinding spool and braking the unwinding spool for building tension. A preceding job image start is located on the surface facing the rewinding spool. A control device activates the unwinding spool drive and, before activation, data is produced in the control device regarding the length to be spooled forward, and the spools are fixed, after advancing the printing master a length, for insuring tension. A value is determined for the printing master length to be spooled forward, being at most the printing image length of the preceding print job plus a printing image spacing.

  • Patent number: 6691612
Abstract: A driving device for printing machines, having a rod for oscillatingly moving a distributor roller in axial direction, includes a joint via which the rod is connected to the distributor roller, the joint permitting relative movement between the rod and the distributor roller so as to compensate for a displacement of the distributor roller perpendicularly to the axial direction of the distributor roller; and a printing machine having the driving device.

  • Patent number: 6061867
Abstract: A method and a device for eliminating peeled-off surface portions of an ink-repellent layer of an offset printing plate. With known plate-cylinder washing devices such peeled-off surface portions of an ink-repellent layer cannot be eliminated from the offset printing plate completely. The method and device according to the present invention enables the complete elimination of said peeled-off surface portions. Using the surface of non-woven fabric mounted on a shaft in spiral-like manner, the ink-repellent layer is brushed off without any fluid added. The method and device are used in connection with the direct imaging of offset printing plates in the dry-offset process.
