  • Patent number: 9803606
Abstract: A fuel injector for fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines has an excitable actuator for activating a valve closing element, which forms a sealing seat together with a valve face implemented on a valve seat element. Multiple spray-discharge openings are implemented in the valve seat element downstream from the valve face. The fuel injector is distinguished in that the spray-discharge openings include at least one upstream first spray-discharge opening section and one downstream second spray-discharge opening section having a different opening width and a wall area of the second spray-discharge opening section of all spray-discharge openings on a semi-circle runs either parallel or at a right angle to the longitudinal axis of the valve seat element having the spray-discharge openings. The valve seat element is manufactured using metal injection molding methods.

  • Publication number: 20150034053
Abstract: A fuel injector for fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines has an energizable actuator for actuating a valve-closure member, which, together with a valve seat face configured on a valve seat body, forms a sealing seat. Downstream of the valve seat face, a plurality of spray-discharge orifices are formed, which include one upstream, first spray-discharge orifice section and one downstream, second spray-discharge orifice section having different orifice widths. The orifice sections of the individual spray-discharge orifices extend coaxially to the particular longitudinal bore axis. The spray-discharge orifices are formed in a valve component manufactured as a metal injection molding part.

  • Publication number: 20070102659
Abstract: A valve for controlling fluids, including a closing element for closing and opening an opening, a restoring element for restoring the closing element to its outset position, a movably disposed armature which is movable by means of an armature coil, and a multifunctional component which includes the function of a valve body and the function of a throttle component in a single component.

  • Patent number: 6976665
Abstract: An electromagnetically actuatable valve for hydraulic control devices in motor vehicles is embodied as a pressure-equalized seat valve in a mode of construction comprising a hydraulic part with a valve dome and an electrical part that can be slipped onto the valve dome. In a magnet valve that is normally open, the tubular tappet that supports the closing member is supported at one point in a first bearing point, in terms of the longitudinal direction, that is embodied as a slide bearing, and a bearing ring that forms the sealing point accomplishes the hydraulic pressure equilibrium with the effective sealing diameter of the closing member that together with the valve seat forms the second bearing point. With the valve, very short switching times, in particular less than 0.5 ms, can be achieved with an economical mode of construction.
