  • Publication number: 20240383314
Abstract: A thermal management system for a motor vehicle, includes a cooling circuit in which a cooler, a cooling circuit pump, and a first heat source are connected in series; a battery branch, in which a chiller and a traction battery are connected in series; a first connection which is arranged downstream of the first heat source, at which coolant can be selectively introduced into the battery branch; a second connection, which leads from the battery branch to a point of the cooling circuit upstream of the first heat source, further comprising a condenser branch that runs between the second connection and the first connection, wherein the condenser branch has a liquid cooled condenser.

  • Publication number: 20240351396
Abstract: A temperature control device for a motor vehicle, with a first and second temperature control circuit through which temperature control fluid can flow, a drive machine arranged in the first control circuit, a first pump arranged in the first control circuit to convey the fluid through the first control circuit, an electrical energy store for storing electrical energy, arranged in the second control circuit and temperature-controlled by the fluid flowing through the second control circuit, and a second pump in the second temperature control circuit to convey the fluid through the second temperature control circuit, the pump including a valve device which is switchable.

  • Publication number: 20230122625
Abstract: A temperature control device for temperature control of an electrical energy store for a motor vehicle includes a feed line element which is flushable by a temperature control fluid for the temperature control of the energy store, and which constitutes a first line element via which the temperature control fluid flowing in the feed line element can be admitted to the energy store, and includes a return line element which is flushable by the temperature control fluid, and which constitutes a second line element via which temperature control fluid flowing in the energy store can be evacuated from the energy store. The line elements are arranged in a housing which is common to the line elements, in which a housing bypass line element which is fluidically connected or connectable to the line elements is arranged, by way of which the energy store can be bypassed by the temperature control fluid.

  • Patent number: 11433735
Abstract: A control system and method for a heating system of an electric vehicle or hybrid vehicle is embodied such that when there is a heating request for a high-voltage accumulator, an HVA heating mode is activated in which the high-voltage accumulator which is connected to an HVA circuit of the heating system is heated by an HVA heating source which is activated for this purpose so that heat is generated in the HVA circuit or transferred into the circuit. When there is a heating request for a passenger compartment of the vehicle, an air-conditioning heating mode is activated in which the passenger compartment is heated by a heating circuit, with heat which is generated in the heating circuit with an auxiliary heater or is transferred into the heating circuit with a heat pump, or both.
