    Abstract: A punching device includes a rotatably disposed punching cylinder and a rotatable counterpressure cylinder. A distance exists between the punching cylinder and the counterpressure cylinder, the distance being adjustable and in which distance a web of material is guidable therethrough. Also included is at least one elastic ring arranged on the counterpressure cylinder and used to adjust the distance. The punching cylinder is movable in a rolling motion on the at least one elastic ring.
