Abstract: A computer-implemented method for predicting an effect of an intervention on managed computing resources using a first system automation management system, comprising an automated operations controller and at least one automation agent is disclosed. The method comprises sending initial state data of the first system automation management system to a second system automation management system which is a functional duplicate of the first system automation management system, sending a status change command and a related expected response vector, equivalent to a result of the intervention to the second system automation management system, determining, by the second system automation management system, a predicted response vector of the managed computing resources in response to the received status change command, and responding, by the second system automation management system, with the determined response vector and a set of predicted actions derived therefrom.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for importing external data into a content management system (CMS) may be provided. The CMS comprises a search and an authoring service. The CMS also comprises a dynamic page connector service enabling an import of external data into the content management system. The method comprises receiving address data relating to the external data, reading the external data using the address data received, selecting a page template from a plurality of predefined page templates, creating at least one new content item in the content management system comprising at least a data element of the read external data based on the selected predefined page template, and integrating in the at least one new content item data concerning a hierarchy structure between the at least one created content item and other content items.

Abstract: Mechanisms are provided to implement an auto-propagation tagging engine. For a selected first content item in a content item ontology, an auto-propagation metadata tag is retrieved. For the auto-propagation metadata tag a corresponding auto-propagation distance property stored in a corresponding entry, associated with the auto-propagation metadata tag, in an auto-propagation metadata tag mapping data structure is identified. The auto-propagation metadata tag is propagated to a related second content item based on a traversal of the content item ontology. The related second content item is within a distance, in the content item ontology, of the selected first content item corresponding to the auto-propagation distance property. The related second content item is modified to include the auto-propagation metadata tag in content of metadata associated with the related second content item to generate an updated content item which is output to a publishing tool of a content management system for publication.
