  • Publication number: 20130340827
Abstract: A self-adhesive edge-protection tape is intended to improve the protective effect for glass edges. This is achieved by providing an adhesive tape which comprises, in sequence directed towards the substrate to be covered, a backing layer (hard phase) and a soft phase comprising a polymer foam, a viscoelastic composition and/or an elastomeric composition, where the thickness of the hard phase is ?150 ?m, the thickness of the soft phase is ?200 ?m and the ratio of the thickness of the soft phase to the thickness of the hard phase is ?4. The invention also relates to a solar module which comprises an adhesive tape according to the invention adhesive-bonded around at least one portion of the edges thereof, and the use of the claimed adhesive tape for the protection of edges of a solar module.

Abstract: Biological wastewater is purified in a sewage treatment plant having an activation tank of a depth greater than approximately 5 m per meter into which a feed of compressed air is fed. An oxygen-containing gas having an oxygen content is increased with respect to the air or pure oxygen and is fed to the mixed liquor in at least a part of the aerobic tank volume of the activation tank. The oxygen containing gas is fed until the total content of the gas in the mixed liquor based upon saturation value is below 150% before the mixed liquor is fed to a secondary clarification.

  • Patent number: 4942119
Abstract: Silver sodalites with cages containing anions such as oxalate, formate, halide, carbonate, sulphide etc. have silver compositions entrapped or encapsulated in the cages of a microporous sodalite lattice. The cages of the sodalite lattice have very small but very even sizes e.g. 6.6 A diameters, so that the silver compositions trapped therein are also of very small but very even sizes. The silver compositions may be sensitive to the application of light, and may be sensitive to thermal or pressure stimuli. Thus, images produced by, for example, irradiation of the materials can be of very high resolution. The silver sodalite materials are prepared by a silver ion exchange process, from synthetic sodium sodalites.
