Abstract: A dielectric sensor probe includes a stake having a longitudinal axis and an electric component positioned in the stake. The electronic component includes a first electrode having a first length measured along the longitudinal axis and a second electrode having a second length measured along the longitudinal axis, the second electrode being spaced apart from the first electrode. The first length and the second length longitudinally overlap each other. The electronic component is operable to measure dielectric permittivity of a quantity of material positioned between the first electrode and the second electrode.
