  • Publication number: 20230234547
Abstract: A method for operating a braking system, wherein a switchable connection between two connection points is open in normal operation, and a voltage difference across the switchable connection is reduced by recuperation before said switchable connection is closed, which serves to compensate for a disturbance in an on-board electrical system. As a result, it is possible to avoid excess currents in the event of the closing of the switchable connection.

  • Patent number: 11218093
Abstract: A method for driving a multiphase motor by a drive circuit, wherein the drive circuit comprises a plurality of transistors, and for each phase of the motor are provided a first path and a second path, wherein at least one transistor is assigned to the first path and to the second path of each of the different phases, and wherein a normal mode, a first drive mode, and a third drive mode are provided, wherein for the first drive mode, all the transistors in the second paths are short-circuited, and for the third drive mode, all the transistors are opened. The method includes detecting an undervoltage or an overvoltage in the drive circuit, operating the drive circuit in the first drive mode if a first undervoltage has been detected, and operating the drive circuit in the second drive mode if a second undervoltage has been detected.

  • Patent number: 9033427
Abstract: A method for hydraulically boosting a vehicle electric parking brake having a hydraulic service brake and an electric parking brake. Application forces electically generated by the parking brake function is superimposed on the boosting brake force generated by a hydraulic boosting brake pressure provided by the service brake to the brake actuator. When the parking brake is actuated to generate a predetermined application force, the force generated by the brake actuator is detected as the actual value, if an actual value of the measured value is smaller than a first target value a boosting brake pressure value is applied to the brake actuator, and by means of the parking brake function an adjustment function for the tension of the brake actuator to which the hydraulic boosting brake pressure is applied is carried out to achieve the predetermined application force.

  • Publication number: 20090108669
Abstract: A method for the operation of a hydraulic vehicle brake is provided. The brake includes a brake housing in which a hydraulic working pressure chamber is delimited by a displaceable brake piston, which is movable into operative connection with a brake disc in order to achieve a braking effect. A parking brake device acts on the brake piston and, in a condition where the brake piston is in operative connection with the brake disc, is lockable by a locking device. The locking device is activated by a force-transmitting element, which is operable by an electromagnetic actuator with at least one coil, one yoke and one armature, wherein the position of the force-transmitting element connected to the armature is determined because the change in inductance of the coil is determined depending on the armature movement in such a way that the result of the determination is independent of the ambient temperature.

  • Patent number: 7151481
Abstract: A method for detecting targets and determining their distance by means of an HPRF radar system including a transmitter for transmitting bursts having a preselectable number Z of transmission pulses and a preselectable pulse repetition frequency PRF and a receiver for receiving the echo signals. Successive bursts are transmitted with a preselectable time lag, where the time lag corresponds to a preselectable number E of transmission pulses. A data record of Z+E detected signals is generated, where each detected signal consists of superimposed echo signals from different unique distance ranges, each distance range having a number A of distance lines, each line having Z+E distance cells. A target is detected by calculating a Z+E-point fast Fourier transform for each distance line, and determining when the signal amplitude is greater than a preselectable threshold value.
