Publication number: 20060154847Abstract: The invention is a detergent mixture containing: (a) 10% to 30% by weight of protein fatty acid condensate; (b) 1 % to 12% by weight of a protein hydrolyzate; (c) 3% to 20% by weight of an acylated amino acid; (d) 1% to 12% by weight of an amino acid; and (e) 0% to 3% by weight of a preservative. In addition, the composition can optionally contain (f) 0.1% to 10% by weight of a neutralizing agent; (g) 0.1% to 15% by weight of sodium chloride, potassium chloride or mixtures of both; (h) 0.1% to 15% by weight of a solvent; and (i) water. Patent number: 6828452Abstract: Acylamino acids are made by a process which comprises the steps of: (1) introducing a mixture comprised of at least one amino acid or amino acid salt and an alkali source into a reaction zone; (2) adding a mixture comprised of a fatty acid halide of the formula (I): R1COX (I) wherein R1 is an alkyl or alkenyl group having from 6 to 22 carbon atoms and X is chlorine, bromine or iodine to form a reaction mixture while continuously circulating the reaction mixture from the reaction zone through a mixing zone until all of the second mixture has been added to the reaction zone.
