  • Publication number: 20240101028
Abstract: Auxiliary safety device for a vehicle, comprising a housing suitable to be mounted on board of the vehicle; a lighting assembly which is at least partially accommodated in the housing and comprises at least a plurality of lights arranged to illuminate a space ahead of the vehicle; a video assembly which is at least partially accommodated in the housing and comprises one or more video cameras monitoring at least part of the environment outside the vehicle to detect one or more of humans, animals or objects ahead of the vehicle, wherein the video assembly comprises at least one thermal video camera which detects at least humans/animals ahead of the vehicle under poor visibility conditions; and a controller which at least causes the plurality of lights to flash or strobe at a human, or animal or obstacle detected by the video assembly.

  • Patent number: 9367580
Abstract: The present disclosure describes a method and an apparatus for detecting deviations in data sources, each data source comprising a plurality of data posts, each data post comprising a number of data values. The method comprises identifying (102) data post pairs, each pair comprising a first data post in a first data source and a second data post in a second data source, wherein, for a unique matching data attribute of the first data post and the second data post in a data post pair, a subset of the data value is equal. The method further comprises determining (104) whether individual of a plurality of combinations of data values of the first data post with data values of the second data post within each of the plurality of data post pairs fulfill individual of a plurality of relation pattern algorithms, and determining (106) a conformity level for the determined fulfillment of relation pattern algorithms for the plurality of data post pairs.

  • Publication number: 20130185038
Abstract: An performance calculation apparatus, an admission rate controller, and a supervisory control and decision apparatus, and methods thereof are provided to improve the control of an admission rate of discrete service events to a data processing system. The performance calculation apparatus, the admission rate controller, and the supervisory control and decision apparatus rely on an improved mathematical modelling mechanism that determines a relation between response times of the discrete service events and their arrival rate and thus provide an improved control over the data processing system by externally monitoring the response times of the data processing system.

  • Publication number: 20040039772
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to the field of distribution of services in communication networks and particularly to provisioning of services in a communication network with a plurality of service systems, service providers and service enablers. The system according to the invention provides a system component register (SCR) comprising service information relating to a plurality of services in the service network, said service information in stored in service data records, one for each service or group of services. Each service data records comprise at least one service instance field identifying a service instance for the specific service or group of services; and, if the specific service or group of services is a complex service or utilizes a shared resource, at least one dependency field defining dependencies for the specific service or group of services to at least one other service system in the service network.
