  • Publication number: 20140259616
Abstract: A method for producing a fluidic connection component for chromatography is described. A connection component includes a main body and at least one insert held in the main body. The main body is prefabricated with an aperture for the at least one insert. The at least one insert is connected to the main body securely and fluidically tightly by a thermal process and by making use of a thermal expansion of the main body and/or of the insert that occurs during the thermal process. The method may include a thermally induced change in volume of the main body and/or of the insert that is retained after completion of the thermal process. The material and the geometry of the main body and of the insert and the thermal process are chosen such that, after completion of the thermal treatment, there is a secure and fluidically tight connection.

  • Publication number: 20140182194
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the chemical conversion of mixtures of materials produced from solid and liquid hydrocarbons into gas/vapour mixtures and carbonaceous materials by thermal actions, catalysis and other processes and a device comprising jacket-heated, vertically and horizontally oriented reactors known per se with conveying devices and further apparatus in a process cycle.

  • Publication number: 20120061955
Abstract: The invention relates to a plug unit for connecting capillary tubes, especially for high-performance liquid chromatography, with a plug housing that has an axial borehole, with a plug capillary tube that projects through the axial borehole of the plug housing, and with a sealing element that has an annular cross section and that surrounds the plug capillary tube, and the front end of the plug capillary tube is sealed by an elastic and/or plastic deformation of the sealing element against the capillary tube receptacle opening of the bushing unit, wherein the plug housing is constructed so that it can be connected detachably to a bushing unit, wherein the front end of the plug capillary tube projects into a capillary tube receptacle opening of the bushing unit when the plug unit and bushing unit are connected and with its end surface essentially aligned opposite a front end of a bushing capillary tube or a bushing capillary tube opening of the bushing unit, and the sealing element is loaded directly or indirect

  • Patent number: 6515294
Abstract: A device for precision measurement of shafts, spindles, or the like calls for two surfaces which are combined with one another, of which one is partially reflecting and the other is roughly fully reflecting. These surfaces reflect an incident light beam independently of one another onto a single optoelectronic target. The target can be read out two-dimensionally and is pixel-oriented. From only a single measurement position, the azimuth and elevation, and the parallel offset between the incident light beam and a center of the reflecting surfaces can be determined.
