  • Patent number: 8773967
Abstract: A relay station and a method for relaying signals between a first signal source and a second signal source. The relay station includes at least two antennas for receiving/transmitting signals from/to the first and second signal sources. At the relay station first and second signals received from the first and second signal sources are network coded thereby generating a first network coded signal and a second network coded signal. The first and second network coded signals are transmitted from the relay station to the first and second signal sources using different antennas.

  • Patent number: 8509068
Abstract: A system for sending a data packet from a messaging device to a receiving device in a signalling network (210) is described. The system comprises a distributed service center (255) a message receiving service center (290), a plurality of signalling units (260, 270) for passing the data packet to the receiving device, a central routing logic (280) for routing the data packets and a closed network connecting at least the central routing logic (280) and the plurality of signalling units (260, 270). Also disclosed is a corresponding method for sending a data packet from a messaging device to a receiving device.

  • Publication number: 20090103520
Abstract: A system for sending a data packet from a first communication network (255) to a second communication network (270) is disclosed in which the second communication network (270) is directly unreachable by the first communication network (255). The system comprises a transmitting device for transmitting the data packet to the first communication network; a receiving device for accepting the data packet from the second communication network and generating a data packet response; and a relay (260) for acceptance of the data packet from the first communication network (255), passing the data package to the second communication network (270) and for acceptance of the generated data package response and passing the generated data packet response to the first communication network (255).
