    Abstract: A holding device for a disc-shaped component, in particular for a wafer, as part of a manipulator of an X-ray inspection system is disclosed. The holding device includes an X-ray tube and a detector in which the position and orientation of the component can be corrected by radial clamps. The radial clamps exert a force in the direction of the center of the component in the plane thereof. Access to the component is enabled for the X-ray tube on one side of the component and allows for a free space on the other side of the component for the beam cone of the X-ray tube.
