    Abstract: In order to provide a lightweight structure which can take up relatively large loads, the invention provides for a surface component for an aircraft, having at least one shell and a reinforcement grid structure, wherein the shell has a preliminary buckling structure which, under a load which acts on the shell in a direction parallel with the shell, brings about a buckling of the shell in a predetermined direction. A production method is further described.
