  • Publication number: 20240133753
Abstract: A method for tuning a distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) system. The method may include determining a signal strength from a first Raman Pump in the DAS system, sweeping a laser pulse output from a transmitter; wherein the sweeping is an incremental increase of a power of the laser pulse output from a minimum pulse power to a maximum pulse power, and measuring a first signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR) for each of the incremental increase of the power of the laser pulse output. The method may further comprise selecting a maximum SNR from the first SNR for each of the incremental increase of the power of the laser pulse output and configuring the first Raman Pump and the laser pulse output based at least in part on the maximum SNR.

  • Publication number: 20100007388
Abstract: The present invention relates to an arrangement and method for eliminating power failures due to harmful motion. The device includes electrical components that use electrical power, a power source that connects to the electrical components, a motion sensor, and a processing unit. The motion sensor may sense a motion of the device substantially corresponding to free-fall condition, the processing unit may receive a signal from the motion sensor based on the first predetermined motion profile, and the processing unit may generate a signal supplied to at least some of the electrical components to cause a shut down operational mode.

  • Publication number: 20020040808
Abstract: The invention relates to: A method of making a gasket (1) on a PCB (Printed Circuit Board) (2) and a PCB comprising a gasket. The object of the present invention is to provide a method of making a high quality gasket that may be conveniently customized to individual needs and which is easily integrated in a normal assembly process. The problem is solved in that the gasket (1) is made by screen printing techniques. This method has the advantage of using a technique that is already commonly used in an electronics assembly environment, and which method may implement relatively complex patterns with a relatively high precision in the layout of feature dimensions and which is relatively economic in use. The invention may e.g. be used for making customized gaskets for EMI shields on a PCB.
