  • Publication number: 20120134649
Abstract: A method for copy protection in which an audiovisual or audio data is divided into a plurality of portions. The plurality of portions is at least partly scrambled and prepared so as to be stored on a record carrier in the scrambled order. This is done so that a physical position on the record carrier, e.g., a sector of the record carrier, where a respective portions of the divided data is stored depends on the scrambled order.

  • Publication number: 20110230630
Abstract: Certain metallocene compounds are provided that, when used as a component in a supported polymerization catalyst under industrially relevant polymerization conditions, afford high molar mass homo polymers or copolymers like polypropylene or propylene/ethylene copolymers without the need for any ?-branched substituent in either of the two available 2-positions of the indenyl ligands. The substituent in the 2-position of one indenyl ligand can be any radical comprising hydrogen, methyl, or any other C2-C40 hydrocarbon which is not branched in the ?-position, and substituent in the 2-position of the other indenyl ligand can be any C5-C40 hydrocarbon radical with the proviso that this hydrocarbon radical is branched in the ?-position and that the ?-carbon atom is a quarternary carbon atom and part of a non-cyclic hydrocarbon system. This metallocene topology affords high melting point, very high molar mass homo polypropylene and very high molar mass propylene-based copolymers.

  • Patent number: 7773495
Abstract: The invention relates to a memory authentication method based on a pattern of storage areas of said memory that have altered latencies that are respectively altered such that the respective alteration of the latency of a storage area lies within a measurement noise of latency measurements in respect to the standard latency of said storage area when the measurement is performed with a reading device for accessing said record medium. The verification is then performed by a correlation of the latencies of the altered storage areas with a key used to alter the storage areas.
