  • Patent number: 11966235
Abstract: Provided is a method for marking a ground surface according to a predefined marking pattern using a system including a robot unit and a local base station including acts of providing two flag points, receiving global positioning data of the robot unit using a robot GNSS receiver, receiving global positioning data of the local base station using a base GNSS receiver, and establishing a local base station position using the received global positioning data of the local base station. A method wherein the predefined marking pattern is arranged relative to the two flag point positions and wherein the local base station position is a system reference point of the system. Also provided is a system for marking a ground surface according to a predefined marking pattern and the use thereof or parts thereof.

  • Patent number: 11467601
Abstract: A self-propelled robot unit including a navigation system and movement items for positioning of the robot unit on an even base and a system for impacting predefined areas of the base during the unit's movement between two points on the base is provided. The robot unit's system for impacting predefined areas of the base includes at least one effect unit provided by an outer side of the wheels in relation to the center axis, but upwards one of the driven wheels. An embodiment also relates to a method for creation of a plan for the robot unit's movements and placement of markings for a ball game field.

  • Patent number: 10040200
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for marking sports field by placing stripes of paint according to a predefined plan via a spraying nozzle on a level playing surface such as grass, gravel, ice, artificial grass or synthetic material field. A robot unit is provided that is configured to move along the stripes according to the predefined plan. The robot unit receives signals from a number of GPS sending units and continuously calculates its current position on the sports field, and uses the current position on the sports field to calculate a set of control signals to two or more movable elements for propulsion of the unit and for controlling the emission of paint. The invention also relates to a robot unit and use of a robot unit for marking fields.
