  • Publication number: 20180227720
Abstract: Method and system for providing information data using a notification system for an application of a terminal is provided. The steps include: reception of a notification registration by the notification system from the terminal during registration of the terminal with the notification system; transmission of a notification which contains information data as notification content; derivation of the notification token by a web service, addressed by the notification address, of a gateway component from a call parameter obtained, the derived notification token being transmitted to a delivery system together with the information data or an access address for accessing the information data; identification of the terminal by the delivery system on the basis of the notification token obtained, and forwarding of the information data or the access address for accessing the information data to the application of the identified tenninal by the delivery system.

  • Patent number: 9155011
Abstract: A method for transmitting data in a wireless radio network having a multiplicity of base stations for wirelessly sending and receiving data, wherein the base stations are wirelessly networked such that each base station can communicate wirelessly with one or more adjacent base stations. Broadcast messages are transmitted between a mobile station for wirelessly sending and/or receiving data and the base stations and broadcast messages are also forwarded between the base stations. These broadcast messages do not have an associated explicit connection between two units in the radio network. Moreover, the mobile station which receives a broadcast message can process this message regardless of the base station from which it originates. This avoids so-called “hand offs,” which are used in the prior art to associate a mobile station with a new base station when the mobile station moves out of range of the earlier base station.

  • Patent number: 8811427
Abstract: A method for data transmission from a first node to a second node in a communication network includes: analyzing data arriving in a buffer of the first node to generate an arrival history curve describing the amounts of data arriving in the buffer over a past time period; processing the arrival history curve to generate a plurality of signals corresponding to filtered components of the wavelet transform; processing each signal in a separate neural network trained with training patterns based on previously received and buffered data to generate forecast signals for future data arrivals; recombining the forecast signals to generate an arrival forecast curve describing the amounts of data arriving in the buffer in a future period; the first node generating bandwidth reservation requests based on the arrival forecast curve and transmitting the bandwidth requests to the second node; the second node allocating bandwidth based on the bandwidth requests; and transmitting data from the first node to the second node wi

  • Patent number: 8543809
Abstract: In a method for secure data transmission in a wireless mesh network, a sending node sends at least one packet to at least one forwarding node which receives the packet from the sending node and forwards the packet to one or more receiving nodes. A destination node receives the packet. A challenge is transmitted from the sending node to the forwarding node causing the forwarding node to reply both to the sending and the receiving node with a response which has transformed information about one or more of the packet/packets. The response is processed to find out whether the forwarding node is misbehaving or not by verifying whether the transformed information is equal to an information which can be or has been derived from the requested packet/packets, wherein the processing is carried out both by the sending node and the receiving node.
