  • Patent number: 10846595
Abstract: Various systems and methods for implementing unsupervised or reinforcement learning operations for a neuron weight used in a neural network are described. In an example, the learning operations include processing a spike train input at a neuron of a spiking neural network, applying a synaptic weight, and observing spike events occurring before and after the neuron processing based on respective spike traces. A synaptic weight update process operates to generate a new value of the synaptic weight based upon the spike traces, configuration values, and a reference weight value. A reference weight update process also operates to generate a new value of the reference value for significant changes to the synaptic weight. Reinforcement may be provided in some examples to implement changes to the reference weight in reduced time. In some examples, the techniques may be implemented in a neuromorphic hardware implementation of the spiking neural network.

  • Patent number: 10848956
Abstract: The invention provides for a method of selecting a Dedicated Core Network (DCN) based on assisting indication by mobile terminals, and including the step of configuring the RAN Nodes of the mobile network with the DCN Types of the serving EPC Nodes so that the RAN Nodes can map the DCN selection assisting information from the connecting mobile terminals with the right dedicated EPC Node. This allows for the RAN Node to connect the mobile terminals with EPC Node of the mobile terminal's dedication at initial attach and then keep the mobile terminals on the same DCN. Thus, a re-routing of mobile terminals NAS message from one EPC Node to another EPC node is avoided. The invention also allows for a flexible and dynamic change of the EPC Nodes dedication based on operator's configuration and policy. Additionally, the invention allows for DCN access restriction control by broadcasting of the supported DCN Types by the RAN Node.

  • Patent number: 10845222
Abstract: A sensor assembly has a deformation body having two oppositely lying surfaces and an outer edge segment as well as a sensor blade extending from the surface to a distal end and having a left side, first lateral surface and a right side, second lateral surface. An overload protection apparatus protects the deformation body against plastic deformation and has a support stirrup led with lateral separation around the sensor blade and a first stop and a second stop located on opposite sides of the sensor blade. The stops are so arranged that an intermediate space formed therebetween receives only a portion of the sensor blade. The deformation body and the sensor blade are excitable to oscillate about a shared static resting position and to be moved in such a manner that the sensor blade executes pendulum-like movements elastically deforming the deformation body.
