  • Patent number: 10832423
Abstract: Disclosed is a computer-implemented method of determining an atlas element. The method encompasses acquiring model image data that describes at least one fixed element (an anatomical element such as an anatomical body part, for example, a rib). Patient image data is acquired that describes an improvable element (an anatomical element such as an anatomical body part, for example heart). Region data is acquired, for example by assigning a homogeneous grey value to a region of the model image. The patient image is matched to the model image, wherein no matching is performed within the region. A transformation for mapping the improvable element into the region is determined based on matching. Several patient images are then mapped into the region and superimposed. An atlas element is determined based on the superimposed images. The method may be repeated using the determined anatomical atlas element as a constraint to detect further atlas elements.

  • Patent number: 10830216
Abstract: An energy storage system includes a crane and a plurality of blocks, where the crane is operable to move blocks from a lower elevation to a higher elevation (via stacking of the blocks) to store electrical energy as potential energy of the blocks, and then operable to move blocks from a higher elevation to a lower elevation (via unstacking of the blocks) to generate electricity based on the kinetic energy of the block when lowered (e.g., by gravity). The energy storage system can, for example, store electricity generated from solar power as potential energy in the stacked blocks during daytime hours when solar power is available, and can convert the potential energy in the stacked blocks into electricity during nighttime hours when solar energy is not available, and deliver the converted electricity to the power grid.

  • Patent number: 10834210
Abstract: A system and method for synchronizing or moving a personal workspace from a first computing system (e.g., a laptop) to a cloud-based computing system in a software development environment. The personal workspace synchronization service identifies changes made to the source code as a result of activities performed in the personal workspace of the first computing system. The source code changes are identified by comparing a snapshot of a current image of a container including personal workspace executing on the first computing system to a base container image of the personal workspace. The identified source code changes are transferred by the personal workspace synchronization service to the cloud-based computing system to generate an updated personal workspace on the cloud-based computing system that matches the personal workspace of the first computing system.
