Abstract: A device is provided for adjusting a connecting piece (3) that is mounted rotatably by a mounting arrangement (11), especially a pedal mechanism in a motor vehicle, which is coupled with a transmission unit (5) for transmitting the movement of the connecting piece (3). The device includes an adjusting mechanism (12) for adjusting the position of the connecting piece (3), a blocking unit, which prevents the unintended adjustment of the position of the connecting piece (3), and compensating device (4) for compensating any changes that may be caused in the position of the transmission unit (5) by the adjustment of the connecting piece (3). The mounting means (11) comprises a first, lower baseplate (1), which is arranged stationarily, and a second, upper baseplate (2), as well as an adjusting mechanism, which establishes an articulated connection (8) between the two baseplates (1 and 2).

Abstract: The present invention describes a device for mounting a pedal lever 1 of a motor vehicle, which is accommodated in a housing 3 pivotably around at least one severable bearing element 2. A separating wedge 5, which is supported on one side against a motor vehicle component 7, is arranged facing the bearing element 2 with at least one cutting edge 4 provided at the separating wedge 5 such that the bearing element 2 is shorn off by the separating wedge 5 as a consequence of the action of an external force, which may be caused, e.g., by an accident, due to a relative movement between the separating wedge 5 and the bearing element 2.

Abstract: A holding device for the pedal mechanism of a motor vehicle is presented, which has at least one pedal block (1, 2) with pedals (4, 6) fastened thereto pivotably and a baseplate (3). The baseplate (3) and the pedal block (1, 2) are made of plastic in one piece. The pedal block (1, 2) for holding a pedal (4, 6) has a mount for the pivot axis of the respective pedal (4, 6). The mount is made of two side walls (8, 9, 10, 11) located opposite each other. The side walls (8, 9, 10, 11) are formed of sheet metal and the mount is injection molded in the plastic pedal block. The sheet metal mount forms a deformation device for the release of the pivot axis (5, 7) in the case of an accident of the motor vehicle.

Abstract: A resetting device for pedals of a motor vehicle is shown, which is shown [“provided”-Tr.Ed.] with a spring element 6, which is fixed on a mount 9 at the pedal 1, on the one hand, and, on the other hand, at a corresponding mount 10, in which at least one spring-loaded friction element 12 with at least one friction surface pair 13, 14 is arranged according to the present invention between the pedal 1 and the body.

Abstract: A device is provided for mounting a pedal lever (1) of a motor vehicle, which is accommodated in a housing (3) pivotably around at least one said bearing element (2). At least one section of a separating wedge (5) is supported via a said support surface (4) against a motor vehicle component (7) and brings about the shearing off of the bearing element (2) due to the action of an external force caused by an accident due to a relative movement between the separating wedge (5) and the bearing element (2) by applying a shearing force. The separating wedge (5) is accommodated between a surface of the housing (3) and the bearing element (2).

Abstract: A fastening device for pedals in motor vehicles has a supporting bolt (8) which is accommodated at each of its free ends in a mounting point (5, 5A) of a pedal block (2). The bolt (8) has, between the mounting points (5, 5A), a mounting point for the pedal. The pedal mounting point is arranged in a hole (7) of the pedal body (2). The supporting bolt (8) comprises two bolt halves (9, 10), which are locked with one another in the assembled state by an elastic snap holder (11). The bolt halves (9, 10) are fixed by at least one stop (13) with respect to their position to the pedal.

Abstract: An assembly unit for a motor vehicle is provided with a lever arm arranged in a bearing block pivotably around an axis on a bolt fixed in mounts of the bearing block. The bearing block has at least one section opening or expanding in case of an accident as a consequence of force acting on the assembly unit. The bolt disengages the mounts as a consequence of the acting force. After the assembly of the assembly unit, the bolt, which has an at least two-part design, has at least one connection area, on which the individual bolt parts are engaged with one another in a positive-locking and nonpositive manner.
