  • Patent number: 12009831
Abstract: A system includes an ADC configured to generate a superposition signal by the ADC being configured to under-sample an input signal at a sampling frequency in which the input signal that is input to the analog to digital converter has a bandwidth and the sampling frequency is less than a Nyquist rate for the bandwidth of the input signal. The system includes a digital signal processor (DSP) configured to digitally process the superposition signal to separate the superposition signal into a plurality of bitstreams, where each of the plurality of bitstreams corresponds to information in a different one of a plurality of separable, distinct frequency bands within the input signal. The information in the superposition signal for at least one of the said plurality of bitstreams is present in the input signal at frequencies greater than the sampling frequency, and the DSP is configured to output said plurality of bitstreams.

  • Patent number: 11917473
Abstract: A modem for a non-standalone network includes a 5G-NR modem and an E-UTRA modem. The 5G-NR modem includes a cell search module which determines first timing information. The first timing information includes first times indicative of the times of receipt of one or more first radio frames from a first 5G-NR base station measured relative to a network time. The 5G-NR modem also provides for the sending of system frame timing difference (SFTD) information for the first base station to a network controller by sending the first timing information to the E-UTRA modem. The E-UTRA modem then determines and forwards the SFTD information using the first timing information and second timing information. The second timing information is determined by the E-UTRA modem and includes second times indicative of the times of receipt of one or more second radio frames from a second E-UTRA base station.

  • Publication number: 20230286308
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for performing print control. In an example there is disclosed a control method. The control method may comprise programming a print mask to instruct printhead nozzles on a moveable carriage to deposit a first line of print material on a medium, wherein the print mask controls the depositing so that an edge of an area of the medium on which material is deposited defines a pattern which is repeated along a scan axis of the carriage and which differs in a direction of movement of the medium. The control method may further comprise scanning the first line of print material. The control method may further comprise performing control of subsequent print material depositing or medium advancement, based on the scan.

  • Patent number: 11745502
Abstract: In an example, a printing apparatus includes a controller, wherein the controller may be to compare a historic usage of a first printhead nozzle with a historic usage of a second printhead nozzle which is located on a same printhead as the first nozzle. The controller may be to determine that the historic usage of the first nozzle is higher than the historic usage of the second nozzle, and in response identify a currently operational third printhead nozzle, for which the second nozzle is able to compensate; and turn off the third nozzle, and operate the second nozzle at a higher firing frequency to compensate for the third nozzle.

  • Publication number: 20230214160
Abstract: In example implementations, a method, a device, and a program are provided. The method includes detecting a power increase movement of a printer carriage. A location of the printer carriage is detected at a time of the detected power increase. Based on the detected location of the printer carriage, determine whether the print medium is damaged. The device includes a power monitor to detect a power increase during movement of a printer carriage. A locator detects a location of the printer carriage at the time of the detected power increase. A damage determiner determines, based on the detected location of the printer carriage, whether the print medium is damaged. The program detects a power increase during movement of a printer carriage. Location of printer carriage is detected at time of detected power increase. Based on detected location of the printer carriage, it is determined whether the print medium is damaged.

  • Patent number: 11662425
Abstract: A mechanism is provided by which a radar image can be generated using mmWave transmissions from 5G-NR type base station antenna arrays. Base stations in 5G-NR use a beam searching sequence utilizing a defined synchronization signal burst (SSB) during their communication initialization with client devices. Embodiments utilize these SSB signals as a radar “chirp” to build a radar image of the base station surrounding in parallel with the typical 5G-NR communication initialization. Antennas on the base station can receive the reflected signals to define the radar image, in conjunction with correlation and time-management logic to properly associate received reflected signals with original transmitted signals. Such information can be processed by a synthetic aperture radar processing logic to form the radar image.
