  • Patent number: 9704165
Abstract: Systems and methods for evaluating the effectiveness of social media pages. Users of social media systems review and publish various kinds of content on social media pages, including various messages, audio clips, video clips, polls, web links, etc. A social media page evaluation system hosted on a physical server or a cloud receives a social media page that is to be evaluated, and provides results of an evaluation process. The evaluation process involves processing of various criteria and parameters that characterize engagements and interactions between users of social media pages. Results of an evaluation process include qualitative and quantitative attributes in connection with evaluating the effectiveness of published content on social media pages. Such results are useful for purposes of enriching content in social media pages, resulting in greater network traffic due to increased engagements and interaction among users of social media pages.

  • Patent number: 8844188
Abstract: A device for sighting a distant moving target by a shooter using a shoulder-mounted firearm provided with a trigger guard disposed around the trigger as a strip of metal or other suitable material. The device is comprised of a horizontal mounting base, a vertical support member, and a small screen or blade. The mounting base includes a mechanism for releasably fixing it in place, and a pair of parallel arms extending from a common origin which sandwich a section of the trigger guard when mounted. The support member extends vertically from the base so as to support the small screen adjacently to a side of the firearm. When the shooter mounts the firearm, the screen protrudes into the sightline of the eye opposite to the mounting shoulder thus concealing the barrel while allowing that opposite eye to see the target at all time.

  • Publication number: 20140007484
Abstract: One embodiment of a sight device that attaches to the trigger guard of a shoulder-mounted firearm having a semitransparent screen perpendicularly adjacent to a side of said firearm, and a support assembly with fastening means for supporting said screen, and attachment means for attaching the device to said trigger guard. The screen is made of semi transparent material, and it is fastened onto the support assembly so as to allow a user to replace it with a similar blade of a different size. When a shooter with ocular cross dominance mounts the firearm at shoulder height for firing, the screen protrudes into the sight of the cross dominant eye obscuring the barrel and aiming bead(s) from its view, while allowing for binocular vision of the target throughout the shooting process.

  • Patent number: 7488176
Abstract: The present invention discloses a movable operation support system, used in clay target shotgun shooting learning, games and competition, which can be set up and operated in any location of the field. A preferred embodiment of the system is composed of a mobile support device used to transport in any position of the shooting field a multi-target release control panel, a portable safety screen that is carried, positioned at each shooting station to assure safety of the shooting, a plurality of mutable station indicators that can be placed randomly on the course and a release cable assembly that connects the clay target throwing machines to the multi-target release control panel. Further a pivoting arm clears the way for the mobile support device by guiding the cables. Additionally a hulls collection box is attached to the portable safety screen and the mobile support device, helping to maintain a clean field.
