The hollow tube may have a weight less than 8.5 mg/mm in an axial direction. The hollow tube may comprise a plurality of layers of a sheet material. The hollow tube may be provided adjacent to and in abutment with the rod of aerosol generating material, wherein the hollow tube has a length in an axial direction of 5 mm or less.
