    Abstract: Organic phosphors are essentially chemical compounds of the following structural formula ##SPC1##Where R = H, Cl, Br, CHO, COCH.sub.3, COOH, or ##SPC2##The method of preparing said substances resides in that 9,10-phenanthraquinonimine is made to react with 5-substituted furfural, wherein H, Cl, Br, CHO, COCH.sub.3, COOH may be used as substituents in the presence of piperidine in a medium of an organic solvent at the reaction mixture boiling temperature, whereupon said solvent is eliminated.
