    Abstract: Apparatus for bending pipes is disclosed including a bed supporting the pipe to be bent; a clamping bending head rotatably mounted on the bed in the bending plane; longitudinal guides on the bed and a heater mounted on those longitudinal guides. A first hydraulic cylinder mounted on the bed to move the heater over the guides and a further hydraulic cylinder to longitudinally feed the pipe during the process of bending.
