  • Publication number: 20250055369
Abstract: A system for reducing common-mode noise includes a switch mode power supply having primary and secondary sides, primary and secondary side grounds, an input voltage source, a primary switch, a transformer, a core, and a power output. The primary and secondary sides each have a quiet termination. The transformer includes a primary winding, a secondary winding, and an active shield winding between the primary and secondary windings. The active shield winding has two terminations, is wound in a same direction as the secondary winding, and occupies a same axial position on the core as the secondary winding. One of the terminations of the active shield winding is connected to the quiet termination of the primary side, so that the terminations of the secondary winding and the active shield winding that are adjacent each other carry alternating voltages of a same polarity and a same amplitude.

  • Publication number: 20240395232
Abstract: The present technology relates to a method for content delivery, wherein the method includes receiving a first user input from a user equipment (UE) and in response to this input querying a database for digital content comprising a set of multimedia streams. The set of multimedia streams are associated with different types of musical instruments such as guitars, pianos, drums, and other stringed instruments. The method further includes identifying a plurality of parameters associated with each of the multimedia streams; generating a synchronized correlation of the plurality of parameters of each of the multimedia streams, wherein each of the multimedia streams are correlated with a same time code; and transmitting the multimedia streams and the synchronized correlation to a display of a UE, wherein the display is configured to permit the user to interact with the plurality of content in accordance with the same time code.

  • Patent number: 11996785
Abstract: A method of optimizing the efficiency of an AC-DC converter, wherein the energy extraction time from the AC line is increased and as result the size of the bulk capacitor can be decreased and in applications wherein the size of the bulk capacitor is maintained constant the ripple across the bulk capacitor is decreased. The methods presented also increase the power factor in AC-DC converters. Extending the energy extraction from the AC line also lowers the RMS current through the input bridge and the input bulk capacitor. The reduction of the ripple across the bulk capacitor also increases the efficiency of the DC-DC converter, increasing in this way the overall efficiency of the AC-DC converter.

  • Publication number: 20230382167
Abstract: A method of determining a left or right side installation position of a trailer wheel of a trailer connected to a tow vehicle. A number of rotations of the trailer wheel is determined using an acceleration sensor, and a number of rotations of a left side tow vehicle wheel and a right side tow vehicle wheel is determined using an ABS sensor or ESP sensor of the left side tow vehicle wheel and the right side two vehicle wheel, respectively. A first correspondence value between the number of rotations of the trailer wheel and the number of rotations of the left side tow vehicle wheel is determined. A second correspondence value between the number of rotations of the trailer wheel and the number of rotations of the right side tow vehicle wheel is determined. A left side or right side installation position of the trailer wheel is determined based on the first correspondence value and the second correspondence value.

  • Patent number: 9977573
Abstract: A headset is described herein for presenting audio information to the user as the user interacts with a space, e.g., as when a user navigates over a route within a space. The headset may include a set of input mechanisms for receiving commands from the user. The commands, in turn, invoke respective space-interaction-related functions to be performed by a space interaction (SI) module. The headset may operate with or without a separate user computing device.

  • Patent number: 9612722
Abstract: Space interaction (SI) functionality is described herein for assisting a user in interacting with a space. The SI functionality includes a sound generation module that generates three-dimensional sounds in various circumstances. A three-dimensional sound is perceived by a user as emanating from particular location within the space. Different modules may leverage the three-dimensional sounds for different purposes. In one implementation, a path guidance module uses a three-dimensional beat sound to direct the user in a particular direction. An exploration module uses three-dimensional sounds to identify the locations of items of interest that lie within (or are otherwise associated with) a subspace to which an attention of the user is currently directed. An orientation module uses three-dimensional sounds to identify the locations of items of interest that are associated with an entire space around the user.
