  • Publication number: 20190234725
Abstract: The invention relates to the field of measurement technology and relates to methods for measuring profiles of three-dimensional objects. With the aid of a projector, a previously known image which comprises non-intersecting lines is projected onto an object. The reflected signal is recorded with the aid of two cameras which are arranged at different distances away from the projector and which form different triangulation angles between the central beam of the projector and the central beams of the cameras. The distance between the projector and the closest camera is selected in such a way that the triangulation angle of the central beam of this camera and of the central beam of the projector is equal to the arctangent of the ratio of the distance between the projected bands to the depth of field of the camera lens.

  • Publication number: 20160349045
Abstract: A method for performing three-dimensional measurements that includes: projecting with a projector of reset non-overlapping images oriented alone the one of longitudinal axis with a constant distance in between, registering the light from the projector reflected from the object using at least one camera placed with formation of a triangulation angle between the central beam of the projector and central beams of the cameras, the cameras are arranged at an angle to the projector as in the vertical and horizontal planes. Each of the images projected on the measured object is a discrete sequence of geometric elements, and the identification of images taken by the camera of these elements is made due to the projected shift. The method provides for reduced distortion of measurements for Y-axis and enhanced sensitivity for Z axis, mad almost complete elimination of errors i.e. improved accuracy at measurements.

  • Publication number: 20150332084
Abstract: The invention relates to devices for measuring surface contours and can be used in a security system for identifying a person. The inventive device for biometrically controlling a face surface comprises a TV camera, a unit for displaying a face position, a computer and an illumination unit provided with a transparency and an objective lens for projecting the transparency image on the face, which is located in such a way that the optical axes of the objective of the illumination unit and of the TV camera are disposed on the same plane at an angle with respect to each other, wherein the unit for displaying the face position is embodied and disposed in such a way that it makes it possible to display the symmetrical face position with respect to the plane formed by the optical axes of the objective lenses of the illumination unit and the TV camera.

  • Publication number: 20090021579
Abstract: The invention relates to the devices for contactlessly measuring surface profiles and can be used for person identification in security systems. The inventive device for contactlessly controlling surface profile comprises a pulse illumination unit which is provided with a transparency and forms a transparency image on an object surface, and image recording unit and a computer. Said device also comprises a control unit which is connected to the image recording unit in the form of a TV camera with field interlacing, the pulse illumination unit and to the computer for synchronizing the illumination of the object surface by said pulse illumination unit with the TV camera field and for synchronizing the image processing by the computer with the TV interlacing.
