Abstract: Stated is an impact test device for simulating an impact of a body on a vehicle, which impact test device comprises a movable carriage and an actuator that is attached to the movable carriage. With the movable carriage at a standstill the actuator can move in a linear manner an impact body against the vehicle in order to deform the vehicle and to accelerate the movable carriage away from the vehicle. Since the mass of the actuator is significantly lighter than that of the movable carriage, termination of the impact test may take place very quickly.

Abstract: The present invention provides a cover plate for covering at least portions of a door gap formed between a door covering and a fuselage cell of an aircraft or spacecraft, comprising: a fastening portion by which the cover plate can be mounted on an outer surface of the door covering; a contact portion which rests in a contacting manner against an outer skin of the fuselage cell when the door covering is closed; at least one corner portion associated with a corner of the door covering; and a side portion associated with a side of the door covering, the at least one corner portion and the side portion being configured to press the contact portion with a constant contact pressure against the outer skin of the fuselage cell when the door covering is closed.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for the reproduction of an impact event of a projectile, with any ratio of energy and impulse, wherein a feed rate of an impress element is controlled by taking account of an alteration in velocity that is proportional to the quotient of a resistance force and a freely selected projectile mass; also disclosed is a device for the execution of the method.
