  • Patent number: 11920092
Abstract: The present invention is related to the use of ethylene alkanoate-alkyl acrylate bipolymers with a high randomness monomers distribution, which are synthesized by semicontinuous emulsion polymerization process, characterized because it is carried out using slow addition rate of the pre-emulsion feeding ({dot over (q)}?0.009 kgL·L?1·min?1), stabilized this last one by alkyl glycol ether type surfactants, at temperatures higher than 75° C. and with solids contents above 25 wt %, which avoids the formation of large sequences (blocks) of a same monomer. This structural characteristic gives the ethylene alkanoate-alkyl acrylate bipolymers a high efficiency as chemical agents for removal of complex water/crude oil emulsions of crude oil blends.

  • Publication number: 20230140403
Abstract: The invention is directed to a water-soluble, environmentally-friendly, packaging wrap for the packaging of goods and parcels. The packaging wrap is formed by sealing together at least two sheets of water-soluble polymeric film to form unsealed areas within the wrap. After the goods or parcels are wrapped with the packaging material, air is then injected into the unsealed areas of the wrap to form air chambers to cushion the goods during transport.

  • Patent number: 9396307
Abstract: Certain embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for interruption workflow management in a clinical enterprise. Certain embodiments provide an interruption workflow management system for a clinical enterprise. The system includes a worklist including a plurality of patient indicators representing patients for which tasks are to be performed by a user. The system also includes a patient panel displaying patient information associated with a patient indicator selected from the worklist. The system further includes a patient indicator shelf holding one or more patient indicators from at least one of the worklist and the patient panel for later retrieval in response to user input. The patient indicator shelf facilitates restoration of a patient indicator from the patient indicator shelf to display in the patient panel in response to user input.
