    Abstract: A ply formed of an outer layer of tetrafluoroethylene polymer impregnating the top surface of a flexible porous matrix and a vinylidene fluoride polymer impregnating the lower surface of said matrix, the vinylidene fluoride polymer surface of the ply being firmly adhered to a substrate of a vinylidene fluoride polymer, preferably reinforced with an embedded flexible porous matrix, to form a reinforced laminate construction.
