  • Patent number: 11945588
Abstract: A vehicle includes an internal cabin, a plurality of stowage bin assemblies within the internal cabin, a plurality of passenger service units (PSUs) within the internal cabin, and an emergency oxygen system within the internal cabin. The plurality of stowage bin assemblies are uncoupled (for example, separate and distinct) from one or both of the plurality of PSUs or the emergency oxygen system. In an example, the plurality of stowage bin assemblies are uncoupled from the emergency oxygen system. In another example, the plurality of stowage bin assemblies are uncoupled from the plurality of PSUs. In another example, the plurality of stowage bin assemblies are uncoupled from both the plurality of PSUs and the emergency oxygen system.

  • Publication number: 20210259629
Abstract: A system for monitoring arterial pressure of a patient determines a score that is predictive of responsiveness of the patient to a therapy. Sensed hemodynamic data representative of an arterial pressure waveform of the patient are received by a hemodynamic monitor. Magnitude data and trend data are derived from the hemodynamic data. The score that is predictive of the responsiveness of the patient to the therapy is determined based on the magnitude data and the trend data of the hemodynamic parameter. A representation of the score is output.

  • Publication number: 20110196035
Abstract: A composition and method for treatment of osteoarthritis is disclosed. The composition includes at least one soluble injectable biocompatible carrier having a viscosity within prescribed limits and an amount of a calcium-channel blocker chosen in relation to the viscosity of the carrier. The concentration of the calcium-channel blocker in the joint synovial fluid is controlled according to the invention whereby effective treatment of osteoarthritis is provided.

  • Patent number: 6547746
Abstract: A method and apparatus for evaluating the response of a biological or nonbiological system to an external or internal stimulus (optical, thermal, auditory, tactile, taste, electrical, magnetic, chemical, biochemical, pharmacological, hormonal, internal cellular transformations, etc.). The system is exposed to the stimulus while at least one electrophysiological signal is recorded. The recorded data is digitized, stored, and analyzed using RQA or other suitable techniques to ascertain the properties of the system's response to the stimulus.

  • Patent number: 6329954
Abstract: A combination satellite and terrestrial antenna system for a single-source application. A first embodiment includes a cross dipole for receiving the circularly polarized satellite signals, and a plurality of monopoles for receiving linearly polarized terrestrial signals. The mono-poles are arranged symmetrically about the cross dipole. Alternative embodiments include a helix antenna for receiving the satellite signals, and one or more linear antennas arranged symmetrically with respect to the helix for the terrestrial signals.
