Abstract: The use of a palladium-doped zeolite for the adsorption of volatile organic compounds is described wherein the zeolite has a CHA framework type and is polymer-bound. Such zeolites have been found to have particular utility as packaging materials for the adsorption of volatile organic compounds, such as those originating from organic matter.

Abstract: System, device, and method of controlling a Ceiling Fan via multi-path wireless communication. A method includes: constructing in an electronic device of a user, a control message indicating a user command intended to be performed by a Home Automation Device (HAD) of the user; wherein the constructing includes inserting into the control message a unique Message-Identifier. The method then transmits the control message, from the electronic device of the user to the HAD, concurrently via at least two different wireless communications channels which include at least: (i) a first wireless communication channel that includes passage of traffic through the Internet, and (ii) a second wireless communication channel in which no traffic passes through the Internet.

Abstract: A fuel economizer, for mounting in a flue pipe between a furnace and a chimney, having a lateral vane overlying a cutout in the flue pipe and carrying a baffle plate in between ends thereof mounted transversely to the flue pipe to obstruct a portion of the passageway therein. A housing overlies the vane. Hinge and weight means are attached to the vane and baffle plate to permit opening of the baffle plate, in response to gas pressure exerted on an interior surface of the vane, and closing down thereof, to maximize efficiency of the furnace by providing a properly sized flue outlet during different phases of use of the furnace.
