  • Publication number: 20230401515
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to methods for generating and presenting a user-specific personal assessment report. The methods include receiving, from a user, a plurality of answers corresponding to a plurality of questions in a personal assessment questionnaire, generating, based on the answers, a user-specific personal assessment report including a plurality of static pages, and displaying a user interface for presenting the user-specific personal assessment report, where the user interface includes a report region for displaying a page of the plurality of static pages and an avatar region for presenting a video of an avatar, wherein the avatar is configured to be partially overlaid on the report region. The method further includes receiving the user input initiating playback of the user interface, and initiating playback of the video of the avatar providing speech in the avatar region, wherein the speech of the avatar comprises an audio paraphrase of the page.

  • Publication number: 20170337584
Abstract: A system and computer-implemented method for providing secondary online content to a user device based on a user interaction with primary online content are provided. The method includes receiving a content request for a primary content item stored in the memory for display on the user device, providing the primary content item for display on the user device, and transmitting a first interaction signal representing a first interaction between the user device and the primary content item, the first interaction signal including a user device identifier and the primary content item identifier. The method further includes accessing at least one concierge rule stored in the memory based on the first interaction signal, retrieving a secondary online content item based at least in part on the at least one concierge rule, and automatically serving the secondary online content item to the user device for display on the user device.

  • Publication number: 20080280254
Abstract: One aspect of the invention concerns a molar implant (24). The implant has a body with a coronal end (26) into which a threaded bore (60) extends to receive a fastener for a prosthesis. There is an externally threaded shank (34) extending apically from the outer end, at least a portion of the shank being inwardly tapered. The coronal end has a diameter of at least 7 mm and the shank has a taper angle in the range 10° to 25°. Another aspect of the invention concerns a surgical method in which a molar tooth (12) is extracted from a maxilla or mandible and a hole (22) is formed in the bone (10) of the maxilla or mandible at a generally central position relative to the sockets (16) left by the extracted molar tooth. This hole typically has a diameter greater than the lateral dimensions of the sockets. It is then possible to screw into the hole an implant (24) as described above.

  • Publication number: 20070293871
Abstract: An osteotome includes a penetration tool which is to be driven into a bone and a separate, elongate driving tool for use in driving the penetration tool into the bone. The penetration tool has a tapered penetration end and an opposite end including at least one curved formation. The driving tool has an operative end including another curved formation which is shaped to engage the curved formation at the said opposite end of the penetration tool. With the curved formation at the operative end of the driving tool engaged with the curved formation at the said opposite end of the penetration tool, the driving tool can be used to transmit a driving force to the penetration tool to drive the penetration tool into the bone. The complemental curvatures of the formations enable the driving tool to be applied to the penetration tool at different angles, facilitating access to different regions of the mouth. The invention encompasses the penetration tool and the driving tool per se.
