    Abstract: Methods for deploying a highly-mobile remotely deployable programmable collaborative robot fabricating system for the assembly, construction, fabrication, and/or the completion of weldments on large structures in difficult to access or elevated locations and a method of deploying the system and performing welding operations therewith. The methods include the steps of either bringing the system to the location of the work materials to be processed or, alternatively, bringing the materials to the system. The shape and location of a weld path is then identified, and the system is either programmed or, alternatively, preexisting templates are employed to complete the operations, upon completion of which, the system is relocated to the site of the next work materials to be processed or, alternatively, the next work materials are brought to the system location.
