  • Patent number: 11479993
Abstract: A recoil security apparatus comprises a body extending along a body axis and comprising an inner surface. The inner surface defines a plurality of surface features and surrounds a shaft extending along the body axis. A first holder is supported by the body and a second holder supported by the body. A securing member comprises an outer surface and is configured to traverse the shaft and engage the plurality of surface features. The securing member connects to the first holder at a first end and to the second holder at a second end. Rotation of the securing member in a first direction causes one of the first holder and the second holder to move in a direction away from the body. Alternatively, rotation of the securing member in a second direction causes one of the first holder and the second holder to move in a direction toward the body.

  • Patent number: 11480034
Abstract: An overpressure control apparatus is used to control jets of high-pressure fracking fluid or other stimulation fluid released from a treatment flowline in cases of overpressure. The apparatus includes a collection tank and one or more valves, which can all be mounted on or integrated to a skid. The sizes and weights of the collection tank and the skid may help to keep the apparatus on the ground during an overpressure event. The apparatus can be provided with an offline testing system that allows an operator to close off the communication between the apparatus and the treatment flowline, and instead, pump a clean fluid such as water at high-pressure to test the proper functioning of the valve.

  • Patent number: 11479354
Abstract: A propulsion assembly for an aircraft operable to transition between thrust-borne lift in a VTOL orientation and wing-borne lift in a biplane orientation. The propulsion assembly includes a housing coupled to the fuselage of the aircraft. A coaxial rotor system includes a first rotor assembly and a second rotor assembly that are rotatable about a common axis of rotation. The first rotor assembly counter-rotates relative to the second rotor assembly. A motor assembly is operably associated with the coaxial rotor system. The motor assembly provides torque and rotational energy to the first rotor assembly and the second rotor assembly. A gimbal assembly couples the coaxial rotor system to the housing such that the coaxial rotor system is tiltable relative to the fuselage to generate a thrust vector.

  • Patent number: 11481978
Abstract: A redundant tracking system comprising multiple redundant tracking sub-systems, enabling seamless transitions between such tracking sub-systems, provides a solution to this problem by merging multiple tracking approaches into a single tracking system. This system is able to combine tracking objects with six degrees of freedom (6DoF) and 3DoF through combining and transitioning between multiple tracking systems based on the availability of tracking indicia tracked by the tracking systems. Thus, as the indicia tracked by any one tracking system becomes unavailable, the redundant tracking system seamlessly switches between tracking in 6DoF and 3DoF thereby providing the user with an uninterrupted experience.
