  • Publication number: 20240323461
Abstract: A device may receive a manifest that identifies a plurality of content fragments associated with a content asset. The device may receive or access instructions for inserting secondary content into a location of the content asset that does not align with the boundaries between the content fragments. Based on the received instructions, the playback device may generate updated manifest information that identifies a first modified content fragment and a second modified content fragment. The location for inserting the secondary content in the updated manifest information may align with a new boundary of the first modified content fragment or the second modified content fragment. The device may share the updated manifest information, and may receive a modified manifest file, or content asset, comprising the modified content fragments.

  • Publication number: 20240316487
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus are provided for using a sweep gas to collect and recover leaked gas. In some embodiments, Helium or Hydrogen is stored in an inner conduit. As light Helium or Hydrogen leaks through the inner conduit, a sweep gas flows through an annular space between the inner conduit and an outer conduit to collect the Helium or Hydrogen. Then, the Helium or Hydrogen is separated from the rest of the sweep gas where the Helium or Hydrogen can be stored again or distributed and sold. In other embodiments, the annular space is between a liner and a steel pipe, and a sweep gas through the annular space protects the steel pipe from Hydrogen that leaks from the liner into the annular space. The embodiments described herein greatly lower the cost for storing or transporting gas such as Helium or Hydrogen at a much higher volume scale.

The method includes storing rules corresponding to an object, a set of recognition inputs for identifying the object, and a graphics artwork file to be preflighted. An image is rendered from the graphics artwork file and machine vision identifies a representation of the object in the rendered image, a characteristic of the object, and a value for the characteristic. The identified characteristic value is checked against corresponding values embodied in the rules, and an output of the checking step is provided. The system comprises at least one computer processor, an input, an output, and a plurality of computer memory modules for storing the rules, the recognition inputs, the artwork file, and instructions for performing the rendering, the machine vision, and the checking method.

  • Publication number: 20240315556
Abstract: Various embodiments are disclosed of universal actuators for an imaging device or probe. The universal actuator may move the imaging device or probe in one or more of a horizontal direction, vertical direction, rotational directions (e.g., axial rotation and pivoting motions). In some embodiments, the universal actuator is configured to mount to a conventional slit lamp microscope to aid in visualizing the face and or eye(s) of a subject. In other embodiments, the universal actuator is hand-held and is used to scan an imaging probe (e.g., ultrasound probe) over the surface of an eye. The universal actuator may also be removable or separable from a base that is mounted to a slit lamp microscope allowing for both instrument-based scanning and manual scanning via the hand-held device. The imaging device or imaging probe is used to obtain 2D image data. In some embodiments this 2D data is then used to generate 3D images of, for example, the face or eye(s).

  • Publication number: 20240316886
Abstract: The invention is directed to a cast molding method for making embedded hydrogel contact lenses. The method comprises a step of actinically curing a lens-forming composition in specific locations in molding assemblies each of which is formed from one male lens mold half and one female insert mold half having a molded insert adhered thereon and comprises the lens-forming composition filling a gap between the back surface of the mold insert and the molding surface of the male lens mold half. This tack curing step ensures molded inserts adhered through multiple spots to the molding surface of each male lens mold halves which in turn will be used together with a female lens mold half in cast-molding of a lens forming composition to form an embedded silicone hydrogel contact lens.

  • Publication number: 20240320212
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating a data aggregator interactive graphical user interface. An interactive graphical user interface (GUI) includes a selectable symbol region, a query region and a data results region. The selectable symbol region displays predefined symbols. The query region displays user input fields for generating queries. The system receives user input associated with the user input fields of the query region to form a filter set. The data results region is automatically updated responsive to the user input, to display one or more data values from among one or more databases associated with the filter set. The system receives a subscription request to save the filter set as a user-customized query. A custom symbol is created responsive to the subscription request that is associated with the filter set. The selectable symbol region is updated to display the custom symbol together with the predefined symbols.

  • Publication number: 20240320508
Abstract: Non-contact measurements, such as optical measurements or X-ray measurements, of a structure are supported using transfer learning for training a machine learning (ML) model for predicting key parameters. A first set of metrology data for a first set of structures is obtained and used to train a first ML model. A second set of metrology data for a second one or more structures is obtained. Transfer learning from the first ML model to the second set of metrology data is performed to produce a second ML model for predicting key parameters of the second one or more structures. Domain adaptation may be used in which metrology data is selected from the first set of metrology data and the second set of metrology data using a feature extractor and used to train a ML model for predicting key parameters of the second one or more structures.
