Abstract: This disclosure relates to computer-implemented management of first and second electronic documents, each of containing a sequence of content components. A user interface displays a first sequence of display elements to represent the first electronic document, and a second sequence of display elements to represent the second electronic document. Each of the display elements in each of the displayed sequences represents an individual content component or group of content components of the electronic document represented by that sequence. The first and second sequences are displayed alongside each other, with their respective display elements in an initial alignment, to allow a side-by-side comparison of the electronic documents. • Publication number: 20180349119
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer readable media to improve the development of image processing intensive programs are described. In general, techniques are disclosed to non-intrusively monitor the run-time performance of shader programs on a graphics processing unit (GPU)—that is, to profile shader program execution. More particularly, the shader profiling comprises of sampling data during the execution of a compiled code on GPU. The execution duration of the sequences of instructions within the code is determined. Subsequently, based relative latency of the instructions within the sequence, the duration time for each binary instruction is determined. The binary instructions are then mapped to source code in order to obtain the amount of time each source code instruction in a shader take to execute per draw call.

  • Publication number: 20180349649
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed in which a secure circuit controls a gating circuit to enable or disable other circuity of a device (e.g., one or more input sensors). For example, the gating circuit may be a power gating circuit and the secure circuit may be configured to disable power to an input sensor in certain situations. As another example, the gating circuit may be a clock gating circuit and the secure circuit may be configured to disable the clock to an input sensor. As yet another example, the gating circuit may be configured to gate a control bus and the secure circuit may be configured to disable control signals to an input sensor. In some embodiments, hardware resources included in or controlled by the secure circuit are not accessible by other elements of the device, other than by sending requests to a predetermined set of memory locations (e.g., a secure mailbox).

  • Publication number: 20180348593
Abstract: Resistance feedback control of drive signals for plural SMA actuator wires in an SMA actuation arrangement is performed. Target resistance values are set representing a desired position of a movable element with respect to the support structure. Measures of resistance of each SMA actuator wire are detected. Errors are derived from the target resistance values and the detected measures of resistance, the errors being adjusted by offsets. The powers of the drive signals supplied to SMA actuator wires are controlled. in accordance with the adjusted errors. The offsets have values selected to adjust the actual position of the movable element to match the desired positions represented by the target resistance values.
