  • Patent number: 11406473
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of producing an optically detectable and retro-reflective medical tracking marker, wherein electromagnetic energy is applied to at least one section of a retro-reflective surface of a marker structure in an amount that is sufficient to alter the material properties of the retro-reflective surface, such that the capability of reflecting electromagnetic radiation of the at least one section is reduced to a second capability of reflecting electromagnetic radiation. The present invention further relates to a corresponding retro-reflective medical tracking marker and a corresponding use thereof.

  • Patent number: 10231759
Abstract: A bone clamp for attachment to a bone includes a first lever and a second lever that are connected to each other by a connection, a sliding block, and a screw. The first lever has a first lever arm and a second lever arm, and the second lever has a third lever arm and a fourth lever arm, the second ends of which are configured to contact the bone. The sliding block is slidably attached to the first lever arm, the screw is pivotably mounted in the sliding block, the first lever arm includes a threaded surface for engaging with the screw mounted in the sliding block, and the sliding block includes a sliding surface on which the third lever arm slides such that the second ends of the levers approach each other when the sliding block moves along the first lever arm.

  • Publication number: 20170350131
Abstract: A splash block of the type that sits on the ground below a gutter downspout and diverts water away from the foundation of the building. The splash block includes, in some embodiments, adjustable legs to ensure the correct pitch for the splash block that will effectively direct water away from the building foundation, along with stakes and a strap to help maintain that pitch throughout the operating life of the block. In some embodiments, the splash block uses a flow control gate for controlling and slowing water flow in order to limit the impact of water on the landscaping as it exits the splash block.
