  • Publication number: 20060080358
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for user-localizable hierarchical lists. Users can create different representations for values displayed within the hierarchical list. For example, users may localize the list into multiple languages themselves without having to request the change to the vendor supplying the software. In this way, German users can see their skills listed in German, while Spanish users can see their skills listed in Spanish, and so on.

  • Publication number: 20060059182
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for conditional navigation through hierarchical lists. Filtering parameters are associated with members in a list, such as a hierarchical list. The filtering parameters affect the number of choices that are shown to a user in another list when that list is selected and displayed to the user. A selection of a member having filtering parameters within a master list affects the choices shown to a user in other master lists and/or filtered lists when they are displayed. The filtering may occur across different processes within the same machine and across different machines. For example, a user may make a selection within a master list on a first machine that causes a list on a second machine to be filtered for presentation to another user.

  • Patent number: 6525628
Abstract: Both discrete and array RC components are described using cofireable resistive material as part of internal electrodes of the device. The devices include a sintered body of multilayer ceramic material in which multiple first and second electrode layers are stacked. Each of the first layers comprises at least one resistive electrode pattern extending across the sintered body between respective pairs of terminations. The second layers comprise an electrode pattern extending transverse to the resistive electrode pattern, such as between end terminations. In some embodiments, opposing side electrodes serve as input and output terminals of a respective feedthrough filter. In a feedthrough arrangement, the third terminal may be provided by one or both of the end terminals. The invention also describes an improved termination structure including a layer made from a metal oxide material.

  • Patent number: 6182143
Abstract: A publish/subscribe data processing broker apparatus has: a means for receiving from a publisher application data messages published on a subject-specific stream by the publisher application; and a means for distributing the received published data messages to a subscriber application which has requested to receive messages on the stream upon which the published messages were published, the means for distributing including a plurality of connected distribution agent data processing units; wherein one of the streams is reserved for messages published by a publishing distribution agent data processing unit and intended for receipt by a subscribing distribution agent data processing unit located adjacent the publishing distribution agent data processing unit or intended for receipt by a subscriber application located adjacent the publishing distribution agent data processing unit.
