  • Publication number: 20240052968
Abstract: A stand for use with a laptop or computing device, such as, but not limited to, a MacBook. The stand has three primary components—a base, a support section, and a platform—that are hingedly or pivotally attached at joints at the respective ends of the support arms in the support section, thereby allowing the stand to be moved from a collapsed position to a fully open position. Stop tabs at or near the top end of the support arms help keep the laptop or computing device in place on the platform.

  • Patent number: 11431284
Abstract: An example canopy includes a plurality of panels arranged in a plurality of rows and a plurality of sequences, including a first sequence, second sequence, and a third sequence. The second sequence is disposed between the first and third sequences and forms a rainwater collection channel. The panels of the second sequence are angled with respect to the panels of the first and third sequences to optimize solar radiation and rainwater collection efficiency. Photovoltaic cells are provided on a flexible top surface of some or all of the panels. A hybrid canopy, a method of making a hybrid canopy, and a method of using and learning from a hybrid canopy, are shown and described.

  • Patent number: 11236623
Abstract: A turbine nozzle for a turbine includes: an airfoil having a shape having a nominal profile substantially in accordance with at least a portion of Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z set forth in TABLE I. The Cartesian coordinate values are non-dimensional values of from 0% to 100% convertible to distances by multiplying the values by a height of the airfoil expressed in units of distance. The X and Y values are connected by smooth continuing arcs to define airfoil profile sections at each distance Z along at least a portion of the airfoil, and the profile sections at the Z distances are joined smoothly with one another to form the nominal profile. A trailing edge profile for a turbine nozzle is also disclosed.
