Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for accelerated ergonomic collection of capillary blood. An apparatus and system include a blood collection module with a proximal portion including a vacuum generation chamber, a distal portion including a blood collection chamber, a concave mid portion including a pressure equalization channel configured to equalize reduced air pressure. The apparatus further includes a sealing surface to stably seal the blood collection module to the skin around a collection site and a slide latch actuated by a lengthwise sliding motion. Also included is a lancet carrier with linearly-arranged lancet strips to puncture rows of blood extraction slits in the collection site. The apparatus also includes an angled transfer port with a low-resistance non-microfluidic blood flow channel to a transfer module, then to a plasma separation module with a multilayer laminate and plasma separation membrane. Methods for accelerated ergonomic collection of capillary blood are disclosed.

Abstract: A nock assembly for use with a crossbow bolt includes a nock body defining a notch into which the bowstring of a crossbow is insertable. A light assembly includes a switch member at one end of the notch. First and second spherical caps protrude into the notch and define a first gap therebetween. Third and fourth spherical caps protrude into the notch and define a second gap therebetween. The bowstring is positionable between the spherical caps such that the first and second spherical caps resist movement of the bowstring out of the notch, and the third and fourth spherical caps resist movement of the bowstring toward the switch member. Release of the bowstring from its cocked or drawn position causes the bowstring to pass through the second gap and contact the switch member to turn on the light assembly.

Abstract: A projectile for use with an air gun includes a light-emitting apparatus and a switch the controls the light-emitting apparatus. The switch is sensitive to pressure and causes the light-emitting apparatus to emit visible light in response to gas pressure that ejects the projectile from the air gun. The visible light assists a shooter in observing the flight path of the projectile and may assist the shooter in tracking a target animal by increasing the visibility of the projectile after it has impacted the target animal.

The plurality of computing resources is configured to execute instances of games for client devices that are remote from the one or more data centers. Each instance for an executable game is associated with a processor, a graphics processing unit (GPU), and memory for storing video frames generated for the executable game. The video frames are compressed for video game streaming to one or more client devices. The executable game provides video and audio and receives input from said one or more client devices. The input is provided to control interactivity of the executable game during said video game streaming. The cloud gaming system uses said received input from said one or more client devices to drive instances of the executable game when executed by the computing resources of the one or more data centers.

Those parts of the executable content deemed most likely to be necessary to support game play on the client are given priority.
