  • Patent number: 12134034
Abstract: A video server is configured to provide streaming video to players of computer games over a computing network. The video server can provided video of different games to different players simultaneously. This is accomplished by rendering several video streams in parallel using a single GPU. The output of the GPU is provided to graphics processing pipelines that are each associated with a specific client/player and are dynamically allocated as needed. A client qualifier may be used to assure that only clients capable of presenting the streaming video to a player at a minimum level of quality receive the video stream.

The video server can provided video of different games to different players simultaneously. This is accomplished by rendering several video streams in parallel using a single GPU (Graphics Processing Unit). The output of the GPU is provided to graphics processing pipelines that are each associated with a specific client/player and are dynamically allocated as needed. A client qualifier may be used to assure that only clients capable of presenting the streaming video to a player at a minimum level of quality receive the video stream. Video frames provided by the video server optionally include overlays added to the output of the GPU. These overlays can include voice data received from another game player.

  • Patent number: 11940258
Abstract: A nock assembly for use with a crossbow bolt includes a nock body defining a notch into which the bowstring of a crossbow is insertable. A light assembly includes a switch member at one end of the notch. First and second spherical caps protrude into the notch and define a first gap therebetween. Third and fourth spherical caps protrude into the notch and define a second gap therebetween. The bowstring is positionable between the spherical caps such that the first and second spherical caps resist movement of the bowstring out of the notch, and the third and fourth spherical caps resist movement of the bowstring toward the switch member. Release of the bowstring from its cocked or drawn position causes the bowstring to pass through the second gap and contact the switch member to turn on the light assembly.

  • Publication number: 20240090716
Abstract: A vacuum cleaner is described having a suction unit, a first cleaning tool, and a second cleaning tool. The first cleaning tool is attachable to the suction unit and includes a first dirt separator. The second cleaning tool is likewise attachable to the suction unit and includes a second dirt separator. The first dirt separator and the second dirt separator employ different mechanisms for separating dirt from an airflow.

  • Publication number: 20240077290
Abstract: A projectile for use with an air gun includes a light-emitting apparatus and a switch the controls the light-emitting apparatus. The switch is sensitive to pressure and causes the light-emitting apparatus to emit visible light in response to gas pressure that ejects the projectile from the air gun. The visible light assists a shooter in observing the flight path of the projectile and may assist the shooter in tracking a target animal by increasing the visibility of the projectile after it has impacted the target animal.

  • Patent number: 11849904
Abstract: A cleaner head for a vacuum cleaner has a housing, an agitator mounted within the housing, and a drive mechanism for driving the agitator about a first axis A. The drive mechanism is mounted to the housing for rotation about a second axis R. The second axis R is offset from the first axis A. When the agitator is brought into contact with a surface to be cleaned, the surface exerts a reaction torque on the agitator that causes the drive mechanism to rotate about the second axis R.

  • Patent number: 11845004
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for cloud gaming. One system includes a plurality of computing resources in one or more data centers. The plurality of computing resources is configured to execute instances of games for client devices that are remote from the one or more data centers. Each instance for an executable game is associated with a processor, a graphics processing unit (GPU), and memory for storing video frames generated for the executable game. The video frames are compressed for video game streaming to one or more client devices. The executable game provides video and audio and receives input from said one or more client devices. The input is provided to control interactivity of the executable game during said video game streaming. The cloud gaming system uses said received input from said one or more client devices to drive instances of the executable game when executed by the computing resources of the one or more data centers.

  • Patent number: 11788814
Abstract: An apparatus for loading a crossbow includes a first member having a first portion defining a first handle and a second portion defining a first hollow semi-cylinder. A second member has a third portion defining a second handle and a fourth portion defining a second hollow semi-cylinder. The first and second members are rotatable with respect to each other about an axis. The first member is selectively rotatable with respect to the second member about the axis between a first position and a second position. The first hollow semi-cylinder and the second hollow semi-cylinder cooperate to define a hollow cylinder when the first member is in the first position with respect to the second member. The first hollow semi-cylinder and the second hollow semi-cylinder are separated when the first member is in the second position with respect to the second member.

  • Patent number: 11712622
Abstract: Methods and systems for executing games are provided. One example method includes executing at a server of the gaming system a first game logic and a second game logic. The first game logic is for a first game stream to a first user and the second game logic is for a second game stream to a second user. The method includes providing a first virtual driver for the first game logic and a second virtual driver for the second game logic. The method includes executing a hardware graphical processing unit (GPU). The hardware GPU having a non-virtual driver that communicates with each of the first and second virtual drivers. The non-virtual driver is configured for receiving data associated with the first game and the second game using the first virtual driver and the second virtual driver, respectively. The hardware GPU is configured for rendering video frames for the first game and the second game. The method includes encoding the video frames for the first game and the second game using an encoder.
