Abstract: A flying disc training device incorporates a training disc for being gripped by a user, and having a centerpoint, top and bottom sides and an annular rim. A swivel strap includes first and second ends pivotably attached at the centerpoint of the disc on respective top and bottom sides. The swivel strap forms an intermediate loop which extends beyond the annular rim of the disc, such that the swivel strap is capable of freely pivoting relative to the disc. An elastic resistance band is attached to the swivel strap and has a free end adapted for being secured to a fixed structure.

Abstract: One embodiment of the invention provides a perfusion system including: a first circuit adapted and configured to circulate a first perfusate through a lumen of a small intestine and a second circuit adapted and configured to circulate a second perfusate through one or more blood vessels of the small intestine. Another aspect of the invention provides a method of perfusing at least a portion of a small intestine. The method includes: circulating a first perfusate through a lumen of the small intestine and circulating a second perfusate through a blood vessel of the small intestine.

Abstract: Systems and methods authenticate an object using IR. IR is projected at a first wavelength onto the object and a first image of the object is captured during the projection of the IR. The object is authenticated by processing the first image to detect IR fluorescence from an IR fluorescing material incorporated into the object in response to the projected IR, where presence of the IR fluorescence within the first image indicates authentication of the object.

Abstract: Multiple handle-type bags, particularly plastic grocery bags, may be gathered for carrying and transportation by utilizing a flattened flexible strap with loop portions at its opposite ends. The strap is inserted through the collected handle openings of the bags to draw the handles together and, then, one end of the strap is inserted through the loop portion of the other strap end to close and cinch the other strap end about the handles. The bags may then be manually carried as a group by grasping the loop portion of the one strap end either within the fingers of user's hands or about the user's wrist.
