  • Patent number: 10208393
Abstract: There is disclosed an insulated metal substrate, consisting of a dielectric oxide coatings of high crystallinity (>vol 90%) on aluminium, magnesium or titanium and high thermal conductivity (over 6 Wm?1K?1), formed by plasma electrolytic oxidation on a surface comprising aluminium, magnesium or titanium. There is also disclosed a plasma electrolytic oxidation process for generating dielectric oxide coatings of controlled crystallinity on a surface of a metallic workpiece, wherein at least a series of positive pulses of current are applied to the workpiece in an electrolyte so as to generate plasma discharges, wherein discharge currents are restricted to levels no more than 50 mA, discharge durations are restricted to durations of no more than 100 ?s and are shorter than the durations of each the positive pulses, and/or by restricting the power of individual plasma discharges to under 15W.

  • Publication number: 20160335351
Abstract: A computer-implemented search system comprising a search engine and a database, the search engine being configured to perform an Internet search in response to a search query and display results of a search on a screen of a user's computing device, the system being configured to: provide and display a selectable function configured such that, when selected by a user, a new folder is created; enable a user to select one or more search results displayed on their screen and cause it/them to be moved into said new folder; and save the new folder including the one or more search results in the database; wherein the search engine performs a search of the database, in response to a search query, and displays data representative of relevant folders including search results created by other users and stored in the database together with the search results.

  • Patent number: 8161664
Abstract: Improved foot-receiving apparatuses that may include: a housing somewhat defining an interior (16) for receiving a foot, and having an external periphery; and at least one Pant-Leg-Cover (XX1) disposed substantially outside of the external periphery of the housing, where the Pant-Leg-Cover (XX1) extends upward from a fixable lower portion (A1) joined to the housing to a free upper portion (D1) movable relative to the housing, where a pant leg (99) can be at least accommodated, secured, and utilized between the housing and the Pant-Leg-Cover. The consumer may have the option to freely join or un-join the Pant-Leg-Cover with the housing to at least change the aesthetic appearance of the apparatus, e.g. depending on personal preference. This specification describes numerous embodiments that will create a sustainable competitive advantage for a select corporation.
